Shipping Information
Important Note Regarding Shipment of Orders
FOB Springfield, NJ or shipping point.
If the shipment can go by UPS, we will automatically add the charges to the invoice unless advised differently. On truck shipments, we normally ship freight collect unless we are advised to prepay and add charges to the invoice.

We will rush your order via the nation's finest truck, air freight and overseas shipping systems. United Parcel Service (UPS) serves all 50 United States from Springfield, NJ. Our centrally-located facilities are just off major highway Route 22 West in Springfield, New Jersey, just minutes from New York City.
Lowest Shipping Costs, Fast Service to Your Door, Greater Package Protection
You can expect fast, low-cost delivery via United States Parcel Service if you are located anywhere in the 50 United States. UPS trucks visit Elkay daily to pick up and speed orders to you. Delivery is made directly to your premises or wherever you designate. Someone must be available to accept a UPS delivery because they require a signature. If delivery cannot be completed on the first call, a second and third attempt will be made. Remember, UPS serves small towns and villages plus thousands of crossroads and other out of the way places, not just big cities.

because we rush your orders via low-rate UPS, or through Elkay's contracted common carriers, we ship your supplies and equipment at the LOWEST COSTS TO YOU.
Determining Weight
When sending payment, add 5 lbs. to shipping weight of items to avoid balance due and COD charges. Overcharges are refunded. Shipment may be subject to added handling charges.
Weight and Size Limits
Maximum Weight per package, 150 POUNDS.
There is no limit to the number of packages from one shipper to one consignee in one day.
Maximum size per package: 130 inches in length and girth combined, with maximum length of 108 inches per package. Check with Elkay for rates on packages over 79lbs.
Minimum charge for a package measuring over 84 inches in length and girth combined will be equal to charge for a package weighing 25 pounds in your zone.
Each UPS package is automatically protected against loss or damage up to $100 without extra charge.
REMEMBER... United Parcel Service cannot make delivery to your Post Office Box number. ALWAYS include full name, address, city, state, and zip code number... and ALWAYS have someone available to accept delivery. UPS will make three attempts to deliver before returning to Elkay as undeliverable. You are liable for all freight charges involved.
Additional Charges
For each COD received for collection, $9.00. For each package with a declared value over $100, an additional charge will apply for every $100 or fraction thereof.
UPS 2nd Day Air or Next Day Air
When specified, Elkay will ship via UPS air service for dependable 2nd Day or Next Day delivery to any of the mainland 48 states, as well as Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. Same package limitations apply as for ground service. Check you local UPS office for current rates.
